How can I fund my education abroad?

Many corporates and philanthropists offer partial or full scholarships on merit to students in need. digibank offers education loans to students planning to study overseas at attractive interest rates.
-
How can the Indian embassy help me during my stay abroad?
The Indian embassy plays a crucial role during your stay abroad. Within 24 to 48 hours of your arrival in the country, you must register yourself with the ministry of internal affairs. This legalises your stay in the country. The second step is to register at the local Indian embassy. Not only is the embassy a home away from home, but people at the embassy can also help solve any problems you may face during your stay. The embassy is also a great place to connect with other Indians in the country you choose to study in.
-
What is the age limit for studying abroad?

-
How do I choose the right University to Study Abroad?
We get this question a lot. Many candidates know which career path they want to take, but are at a loss for how to take that journey. Understanding the job role and the industry that you want to get into is the first step to picking the right university.
-
Why Study Abroad is better than studying in India?
The common notion is that foreign universities are expensive, although with scholarships this is an exaggerated issue. What many fail to consider are time and effort. Studying in an Indian college leads to a lower average salary than earned by our western counterparts. This salary sets the tone for all future promotions since companies often look at your previous salaries during compensation appraisals. Additionally, most senior positions tend to be scooped up by individuals who have an international outlook through global exposure. Finally, studying in a foreign country is an incredible learning experience helping students get a better academic as well as soft skill development.
-
Is a good Entrance Test Score Important for a Scholarship?
A good score doesn’t automatically qualify a candidate for a scholarship, however, it is one of the primary factors that the admissions department looks for in a scholarship application. There are other attributes such as a candidate’s academics, extra-curricular, financial background, and application essays (SOPs).

Can I work while studying abroad?
This is particularly one of the most common questions from international students; the answer is: it depends on the country. Popular destinations like Canada, UK, USA, Australia, South Korea, and Spain will allow you.
The hours and restrictions differ, so you can visit the country’s official website to determine the exact rules for your destination.
Here are the rules for some of the most popular destinations :
Canada, Australia, and the UK : You can work up to 20 hours per week and more hours during the holidays.
USA : You can work up to 20 hours per week but only on-campus jobs. (working off-campus is possible but more complicated. It’s only available to F1 students who completed at least one year of their program and have economical hardship.)
Germany : Working in Germany while studying is possible for 120 full days or 240 half days per year.
Spain and Italy : You have to apply for a work permit first to be able to work for 20 hours per week.
South Korea :You have to apply for a part-time work visa (S-3) to be able to work for 20 hours per week. For postgraduate students, you can work 30 hours per week.
